More of the disconnect from what they post vs. acting innocent and annoyed when someone says something.
There's guys who use the "education" excuse to show their dick and lots of women in the comments say sexual shit but the guys aren't crying about it lol.

Deleted member 18559 yeah I never understood that. It looks like shit, but just from a practical standpoint it would seem to be too much of a handicap/annoyance even if it did make you more attractive.

Same old typical shit, it’s insecure women who want extra attention from men but fear scrutiny from other women or men who might judge them for selling nudes or posting risqué shit. I feel like guys don’t fuss about other guys doing it just because we’re all out here just tryna lay pipe, to each his own. ?

Jay Yeah we kind of talked about that here. Didn't go into the guy thing though. That's another interesting point. I hear all the time from feminists about "#MenAreTrash #YesAllMen" but men don't seem to psychologically terrorize each other anywhere near the extent that women do. (You could say men are worse because they assault and murder way more, but it would seem the percentage of men that do that is infinitesimally small compared to the percentage of women who make people want to kill themselves.)

women just get off with crimes and don't do nearly the same time as men. and honestly, if the casey anthony case was exactly the same but with a man, he wouldn't be walking out the courtroom a free man.

Yeah I agree. I believe there are two categories of that group though, Men Haters and real Feminists. The real Feminists generally have realistic ideals with underlying good intentions. Men Haters just thrive off the kudos they receive for calling out men over nothing and acting far more victimized than they actually might be. With the latter group, they sexualize everything and then pull the “Is it because I’m a woman?” card.

Jay Eh. That's more of a "no true Scotsman" kind of thing. Who decides what a "real feminist" is anyway? I just go by what the majority of people who call themselves that term advocate for. Sure, when misandric types want to pretend they aren't sexist against men they'll trot out the dictionary and claim they're basically egalitarians. But someone wise once said actions speak louder than words. And while they may play lip service to equal treatment, watch what they campaign for and watch how they behave.

There's a reason that in poll after poll, the vast majority of people (men and women) say they believe in equal treatment of the sexes under the law, but don't think of themselves as feminists. I know that surveys in the US and UK the number who identify as feminist is fewer than 1 in 5. "But how can that be?! That's literally the definition of feminism! Ugh. Ignorant morons don't even know what the word means!"

Definitions change with popular usage. (In fact that's all definitions are, really.) People see what feminism has come to mean and what a "feminist" has come to be. And they realize the term doesn't fit them, regardless of what the dictionary says.

No, I definitely agree with you, I just see it more as a spectrum. No one is absolutely one or the other. I think generally, people just want what is best for other human beings, but outrage/call-out culture has turned everything into witch hunt. That’s what ties in the topic of the thread for me. While there are plenty of women facing real issues, the vocal minority create their own drama online so they can get social justice points from their peers and be treated like heroes for “speaking out” and shit.

Even though this thread got messy I just saw something that reminded me of why I started this thread and had to put it here. This shit is hilarious.
This is a comment from a video on pornhub. It's a compliment but look at her response
